The Clairvoyant Zoopraxiscope

On watching Godard's Weekend this weekend, I realized, with a burst of probably lukewarm inspiration, that the burning car sequence in Wild at Heart and the burning car scene in The Straight Story were probably nods to the similar sequence in the older movie. Hmmm.... Not sure what this correlation does for me, but I couldn't hold it down.
